All About Kids was founded by Cathy Grossfeld in 1988, later joined by her husband Michael who are both New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and have over 60 years of combined experience in providing and administering services for children with developmental delays.

For over 30 years, All About Kids has provided evaluations, individual and group therapy services, consultations, and service coordination for children. All About Kids' comprehensive offering of services and programs addresses all facets of a child's development and allows for better team coordinated and individualized treatment. We provide early intervention, preschool, school age, and autism services privately as well as through the New York State public funded EI, CPSE, and District CSE programs including the NYCDOE. We are proud of our history of 30 years of outstanding program and fiscal audit reviews.

OVERVIEW

We have an immediate opening for a Temporary Staffing Coordination position for our office located in Westchester, NY. This is a fast-paced environment and requires a high level of energy and the ability to multitask. The individual who is selected for this temporary position in our will also gain exposure to a variety of aspects of staffing as time permits. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for staffing cases for EI, CPSE and CSE programs. This position assists with staffing and identifying staffing needs. Staffing coordinator assists with marketing strategies and contact with the EI and CPSE communities. This temporary assignment is anticipated to be for 6-8 weeks.

Essential Functions

  1. Assign providers to cases based on availability for: EI, CPSE, CSE.
  2. Blast out e-mails regarding provider availability for cases.
  3. Monitor current therapist availability to take cases.
  4. Notify supervisor when recruiting is needed for services we are unable to staff.
  5. Print and send paperwork from NYEIS to providers- new cases, 6-month review & annuals.
  6. Tracking sheets- update weekly (daily referrals) ABAm ST, OT, PT, LCSW and SEIT cases
  7. Assist billing dept. with requests.
  8. Assist providers with questions regarding cases.
  9. Assist OSC’s inside & out with any issues or questions regarding cases.

Competencies

  1. Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  2. Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  3. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills


Physical Demands & Travel Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. It is a requirement of this position to lift document files and other objects up to 20 lbs. Travel 2-3 times per year to other AAK offices or training facilities may be required for training purposes.

Education and Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service or related field

  1. 2 years experience in an Early Intervention CPSE, CSE
  2. Staffing Coordination experience.
