Responsibilities
- Utilize a web-based platform for onboarding and delivery of services
- Provide speech/language screenings and/or consultations when necessary
- Confidently administer assessments for cognitive-communication disorders and interpret the results using a web-based platform
- Design innovative and engaging materials, prepare IEPs as needed on a timely basis, document goals, and modify goals based on student needs and performance
- Maintain the flexibility to adapt/modify the treatment plan, intervention being utilized, and other professional areas in order to best provider an individualized therapy approach
- Proficiently and professionally document services rendered
- Participate in IEP meetings, review existing data, and form team meetings
- Communicate with families regarding services
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and safeguards related specifically to speech therapy.
Compensation
$45 - $80 per hour
Hourly rate based on program and license status
Requirements
For CFY:
- Master's in Speech Language Pathology CF eligible
- Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Teaching Certification
- Reliable car and auto insurance
- Clean background and criminal record
For SLP:
- Master's Degree is Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- New York State licensure in Speech Language Pathology
